Citizenship by Investment in Vanuatu

Vanuatu is a South Pacific Ocean nation made up of roughly 80 islands that stretch 1,300 kilometers. Vanuatu might be described as an “undiscovered Pacific gem”. In a world plagued by crisis and uncertainty, Vanuatu is “far removed” in every sense of the word… and yet with daily connections through Australia and New Zealand is still easily accessible. The islands offer scuba diving at coral reefs, underwater caverns and wrecks such as the WWII-era troopship SS President Coolidge. Harborside Port Vila, the nation’s capital and economic center, is on the island of Efate. The city is home to the Vanuatu National Museum, which explores the nation’s Melanesian culture.

Citizenship by Investment Program

The value of obtaining Vanuatu Citizenship is not only for peace of mind today, but for the protection and pure pleasure for future generations to enjoy. As the only Citizenship by Investment Program (CIP) of its type in the Asia Pacific Hemisphere, Vanuatu Citizenship is as unique, as it is valuable to hold. Often compared to the Caribbean as an option for Citizenship by Investment, Vanuatu prides itself on being unique in many aspects.

Features of Vanuatu Citizenship Program

  • (Still) The only Citizenship program in the Asia-Pacific Hemisphere
  • Visa-free access to over 127 countries, including Schengen Area and UK
  • Fast processing (around 45-60 days)
  • No language requirement
  • No requirement to visit or to reside in order to obtain the Citizenship
  • Hereditary Citizenship
  • Oath Swearing Ceremony in convenient locations
  • Bitcoin payment accepted

The DSP Application Process is not complicated, but requires a little explanation and guidance. There are two parts to the Process:

Step One:
An initial Due Diligence, carried out by the Vanuatu “Financial Intelligence Unit” (FIU), leading to the issue of a letter of acceptance (essentially, an “Approval in Principle”).

Step Two:
A second administrative process to ensure that the Vanuatu Government has all the documents required to complete
the Honorary Citizenship process.
Note: The FIU process is relatively fast- normally seven to ten days. It results in a letter being produced to confirm the applicant is cleared for Citizenship subject to completing the remaining formalities.
The Due Diligence Fee of US$5,000 (non-refundable) needs to be submitted with the Step One documents.
The Vanuatu Citizenship Commission sits twice a month, and so the speed of processing of an application after FIU
clearance depends on how near to the next Citizenship Committee meeting the full documentation is submitted.
